Algorithm and Experimenting

Five years can make anyone a bit bored. Cal Tradd was no different, so, in those five years, the sick minded self proclaimed detective began a sort of experimenting on rather unfortunate people on social media.

The ones who’s lives needed a second chance, ones who shared their pain, those kinds that allowed a monster such as himself to follow them. He hunts them that way, using his twisted up skills to track them down, especially when they are where he is travelling.

He plays with them, tests them, but it all ends the same. Them, a blubbering mess, begging him as he cuts their throat.

Only one was able to outsmart him and mess with his algorithm, so he created new tactics. If they escape him, which was rare. He makes sure the world thinks them insane as he hunts them down like a wolf with an injured lamb.

He is great at hacking into accounts, phones, anything with technology. Even after meeting his old partners, Cal continues to experiment every once in a while. Old habits, and he loves the hunt.

There will always be others who open the door to Carl E. to Cal T. to anyone, and that’s when they let the monster in. Tick Tock.

Okay I think I have an explanation as to why I vanished

Why does everything I want to kill, run away from me? I honestly don’t understand.

Anyway. After being, I don’t know, ditched by the supernatural dumbasses in my life. I finally caught wind of one of them being locked up in some facility somewhere. So, like a good friend that I am.. I decided to investigate.

Tom Killian was captured. How? That is beyond me for the time being, and who knew that being a worthless human being worked sometimes considering all I had to say was that I basically was screwed over and ditched by a damn goblin, a stupid brat, a telekinetic camera obsessed freak, and a dumbass dragon... well, that is me dumbing stuff down but I’m not about to bore you.

Anyway, I began to work for them. Working for and against them to try and figure out a way to get dear Tom out. And.. well, I noticed a pathetic little half-fae sneaking about as well. So maybe I just happened to weaken the alarm system for this Peter Pan-- why am I surprised that guy also exists? --to get in and get the key, and maybe I cut the alarms just long enough so the dragon and Fae can escape..

And maybe, I got out before Tom ‘No Restraint’ Killian torched the place and flew off. Great.

Alone again, naturally. But that was one down.. now he just needed to find Detmer, he guessed.
