Did you know that racoons wash their food before eating? So if you give them cotton candy, they will wash it, and they will be confused as to where it went.

Reminder that Sora is not the ‘eh’ character.
Yes, arguably cooler and more capable Keyblade Wielders have been introduced since our first journey, in which Sora was introduced as the Only One, and that led to some people feeling like he’d been overshadowed.
But that has literally no bearing on Sora’s value as a person.
Reminder that Sora’s greatest strength was NEVER his ability to wield.
Every. single. one of those cooler, more capable Keyblade Wielders met doom, destruction, and tragedy.
Sora got through his conflict because his heart is so strong, so open, that he could’ve gotten through it even without the Keyblade.
Riku was able to escape his personal tragedy by learning from Sora, and, just like him, ceasing to be dependent on his Keyblade for his strength--same lesson, just much slower and from an arguably darker place.
Mickey was able to escape his personal tragedy only by leaving the narrative entirely, until such a time that Sora was there to make things right again.
NONE OF THE OTHER PAST KEYBLADE WIELDERS HAVE ESCAPED THEIR TRAGEDIES and, on a VERY related note, none of them ever learned the above lesson that Sora and Riku learned.
Reminder that now Sora has to go save all of their butts.
Reminder that the reason Sora wasn’t ready to be a “Keyblade Master” is actually related to his greatest strength; in this one instant and endeavor, it held him back:
Riku has come to a nice balance of understanding the power of the Keyblade while also understanding, thanks to Sora, that its power does not define or limit his strength.
But Sora is just one hundred percent “My friends are my power, yeah it’s nice that I have this handy Key but I could manage without it just fine just point me at the negativity Imma punch it in the face.”
Either he’s going to have to learn to respect the Key, or he’s going to prove that he doesn’t need to be a Keyblade Master to save the day.
(Honestly, in my opinion, the whole construct of becoming a Keyblade Master is super outdated and promotes the ideology that caused all the trouble in the first place, so it’d be kind of nice to see Sora just blow that expectation out of the water and be like “naah thanks, I don’t need imaginary authority to be a good person and protect the balance, but thanks anyway.”)
TL;DR: Reminder that Sora is an amazing character and, yes, there are other, arguably cooler and more capable Wielders that have been introduced, but the reason HE has managed to escape the tragedy that dogs the Keyblades’ Chosen is that he is the only one who doesn’t rely on or define himself by his Keyblade; his heart is his power. This last statement excepts Riku, who fell into the aforementioned tragedy but transcended it because he learned to be like Sora.
Am I procrastinating on a Thesis Paper by being on Tumblr? Yes, yes I am.
Am I gonna do anything about it? No, no i am not. I should though. Its also the last assignment i need to do. I've written half of it, and it needs to be 3 pages. Well between 3 and 5, but mental capacity says 3, so its going to be three. Philosophy is nice to learn about. Especially when the professor gives you clear instructions on what ya need to do, and clearly states how to do it with clear and precise examples.
3 full hours on Mondays every morning until the end of this week, then I'm done with the course.
Do y'all just ever bite your friends shoulders affectionately?
Yes
No
Engineering math hurts the brain.
I am however, very excited about a physics lab that I get to do.
My knees crack like popcorn in the microwave :), they are okay though
Ernesto de la Cruz: I admit, some mistakes were made.
Miguel and Héctor: Murders. Some murders were made.
When Miguel and Hector just happily throw gritos back and forth across the microphone in Un Poco Loco while Dante howls in the background reblog if you agree
