“You know we can’t keep meeting like this.”

Abigail nodded. “I know. I know that. But… I don’t think I can give you up. My heart aches to be with you….”

“So does mine.” Calian kissed her hand. “But you know we can’t keep this up forever.”

“We could try,” she murmured.

If only the world wasn’t so cruel. If only they could be married without great sacrifice. If only showing their love to the world wouldn’t end in severe tragedy.

But they both knew better. They knew Calian’s tribe would never accept her, nor would American society accept him.

It was painful, but all they could ever have was this. This secret affair, hidden away from everything and everyone but the stars above.

“How long do we have tonight?”

Calian cradled her head in his hands. “Until the sun chases us home.”

For now, that would be enough.

So are they called Calabby or Cabby? I’ve seen both ship names used and I’m not sure which is the right one? :’D

Thank you so much for making them! You have some wonderful edits. And please don't stop. When I first finished the show there was hardly any content on these two. We need to fix that, don't you think? ;)
