It's been forever since I last drew my favourite OC Calian. I can't wait to start posting my upcoming webcomic Tales of Ticalia online. Not a long wait anymore~

It feels weird that last year I was mostly doodling him, and this year I have barely drawn him, except in the comic. Kingdom Hearts brainrot has kept me kinda occupied lately hahah!

Now that I had to return home and spending more time in my old childhood room, I realised I had some old art on the wall. An old drawing of Calian from around 10 years ago.

I decided I wanted to do a quick redraw of it just for fun. Although his design has changed a lot, some elements are still there. Oh and even if I love his blue cape white shirt look the most, he will be wearing a black shirt similar to the old one in the prologue to the story! (And other outfits later on as well)

Okay guys, I'm getting so excited with getting closer and closer to sharing Tales of Ticalia with you. Sooooooooon!

So guys, some of you may know that I have this little tiktok account where I post only fandom stuff and 99 % of it is SPN/J2. The average view count is about 300 - 400 views and roundabout 40 likes. So on Friday evening I posted this edit:

And Calian managed to achieve this (current count)

I also gained 37 new followers (cracked the 100 on Friday) and I'm still baffled about tthis success.

I have so much fun to come up with edit ideas, this one stemmed of the song, I always liked it and on Friday it came on and I immidiately visualized Calian to it. And here we are. I'm overjoyed 🤩

Ended up finishing this today. I just love this grumpy man. Is he ever happy? Maybe he just needs tea. Or a hug.

Ps. Traditional art felt so hard. I just couldn't find a comfortable pose for my hand when doing lineart.

A little wip of Calian. I started a new sketchbook to do some more traditional art again.

Let's hope I won't ruin this with the colours and lineart!

Oh yeah it's been 2025 for a couple of weeks already, but I stumbled on this new year's doodle I did on the first day of the year. This was a very dumb doodle of Calian and Chiria that shouldn't exist, but it makes me laugh too much so maybe I should post it instead of denying its existence.

Gaaaaaaah I just had a thesis meeting with my teacher and although I was absolutely terrified, it ended up going okay. Looks like I'll be actually making my thesis about starting my long webcomic!

This past weekend I had my last Artist Alley of the year.

A random customer: "So what inspires you?"

Me: "Uhhhhhh.... The world needs more long haired men?"

I feel like that was such a weird answer but at least it was honest and came from my heart. So often I see people post art of pretty girls online which is totally valid. I'm just doing my part in balancing the scale with drawing mostly men.
