I don't think he'll become the new villain, but I think he'll need to get hit on the whole face with the consequences of his actions for him to realize what he's doing wrong and decide to thread differently. He's just a character acting realistically problematic, because he's been building this attitude up over the years.

Yeah, this is something that’s been building since even before the start of the series’ debuting events. Granted, he was able to handle it better up to a point, because he felt that he and Bishamon had decent communication among one another.

That’s what kept him afloat, feeling that Bishamon trusted him enough to confide everything in him where she couldn’t--and obviously didn’t--her other shinki. But then Father went after Tsuguha, and she started limiting her explanations to him, for his own safety. Just as she did with everyone else. And he couldn’t stand that. It didn’t cause his initial feelings of inadequacy, but it did exacerbate them enough for him to get to this point.

RODEO RIDE TOUR IS MY LIFEBLOOD i love it so much, and i love that it’s canon. I love how they canonically care about each other so much, can’t help shipping them. It’d be weird they didn’t have feelings for each other at all!

I love the stupid things in it that are cannon too (poor Regal with his stage play) and all the shenanigans Sheena and Zelos get up to while they’re out and about with one another.

They do care so much about one another though and they’re both infuriating about not wanting to actually admit it or do anything about it.

A look of disgust was all that she could manage as her eyes came across the calamity god that she had faced in battle many times alongside Lady Bishamon. The one who had destroyed the Ma Clan, the one who had dared to do harm to her master--
