@calamuscrest Oh, I know ! But I was talking about being able to do it myself, like go into my inventory and combine items, rather than crossing half the continent to find the one person who’ll do it for me ^^ When a game gives me food items I always want to cook them. I guess I miss the mess hall mechanic from fates.

yeah, i can see that. i started on fe8 and then went to fe7 and then to fe13 and 14, so i was like, really overwhelmed with how many more there were to get all supports, haha. like, what do you mean cordelia has ten people and can get all their supports how many maps do you think this game has

Oh god, yeah, the other way around would be so disorienting.  Without grinding trying to do something like that would be horrible (*flashbacks to Conquest*), but having so many people to use and support with gave me reason to use them and get to know them instead of “If you can kill efficiently, you’re in until you’re outclassed” which....means I miss out on so much development and characters.

And my girlfriend still won’t let go of the fact that I called Matthew useless and stopped using him.

fe2 is pretty good, from the five minutes i played before the emulator crapped out LMAO. but fe2 has a lot of different mechanics (you can attsck w/o weapons, weapons are infinite use, healers heal with their own hp (? that might b diff. game) etc.), has no kids, and is more nuanced in terms of black and white with some aspects.

You say that like she isn’t ten months old and wouldn’t just tackle me to get the ball.

She gets so excited if I kneel, if I kneel and have a ball I will be buried in dog.

you don't get five supports: each character can gain five support conversations each. (ie. one a-level suppport and a b, five c level, etc.)

To be fair, five supports through the whole game is what I thought when I first played until my friend corrected me.  I still don’t like five supports per character but that may be because Awakening was my first game, so I was used to like everyone is friends and can be friends and just not being able to explore everyone’s dynamics is just...such a killer.

fe7! and i was actually surprised when using her in heroes, she's a better unit in game.

Yeah I’ve been reading through the older games on tvtropes to figure out which I want to play and I saw Sophia in the characters and I was so excited to figure out her role in the game.

And they said she was goes for a poor unit to a mediocre one.

Which makes me sad.
