Knee’s are tucked against her chest and she barely suppresses her sobs as the sounds of gunfire, screams, pounding on locked doors sounds in the air around her. Olivia can’t be one hundred percent sure of what’s happened, just knows that a shadowy... thing, has entered the room, quickly sealed the exits, and is now picking people off one by one.
It’d been an event she hadn’t wanted to attend in the first place. She’d been forced to wear a dress she hadn’t wanted to wear, shoes that pinched, had her hair pulled and pinned and straightened until it was unrecognizable. Liv had spent the duration of the event lurking near the chocolate fountain and actively avoiding the Barnettes. And then it’d all gone to hell.
And just as quickly as it’d started; it’d stopped. There are bootsteps nearby the table she’s hiding under, and she can’t help but audibly sucking in a breath. Quickly she slaps her hand over her mouth and prays the thing hasn’t heard her.
