#calcite?

I found a cool rock. Anyone know what that lighter bit is? I found it on a lakeshore and I think it's some kind of gem stone or something. Maybe calcite? Any ideas?

This one seems to have some quartz or calcite, not so sure of the rest of the composition. The color is actually more like a light garnet than the orange ish color it shows up

Conichalcite from Mina Ojuela, Durango, Mexico. Not sure of the clear material, may be calcite?
