send me ‘ 🖤 ‘ for our muses to go on an inexpensive, simple date (Oliver x Corinna)
It was hard to ignore the fluttering of butterfly wings in his stomach as Oliver waited for Corinna to open the door. They’d been dating for some time now and still, the thought of her was enough to throw him into a nervous awkward mess. Granted, nervous and awkward were not too far removed from his usual self. He’d long since given up on the dream of being anything else.
“Hi,” Oliver greeted when the door opened. He was sure that there was a dopey starstruck expression on his face. Not that he minded. Anyone in his position would feel the same. “You busy?” Oliver brandished the picnic basked he held in one hand, the bottle of wine in the other. “I was wondering if you’d like to go on a picnic with me. Maybe do some bird watching or people watching, whichever you prefer.”
send me ‘ 🍫+ ‘ for my muse to give yours a box of chocolate (Caleb x Kelce)
Caleb was, by no means, a romantic. He enjoyed a good date, but for the most part, Caleb considered romantic gestures to be more work than they were worth. That mindset probably explained why he usually spent Valentine’s Day unattached. This year, though, unattached was the direct opposite of what he was.
“All right, dude. Try not to make a big deal of this, ‘kay?” Caleb produced the box of chocolates that he’d been holding behind his back with a flourish and a cheeky smile. He’d thought about getting something less generic, something that said hey, I know how to be a good boyfriend, but had ultimately settled on chocolates. Chocolates were safe. Chocolates said I know how to have a good time and I’m not expecting a lot out of this, both statements that Caleb felt secure in making. “I know it’s nothing special, but I figure the next time I make you work out, you’ll remember that I gave you chocolates.”
