More OC sketches. I imagine Blood Magic users are all probably anemic
Sometimes I think about spells that a character might use, and blood magic always seems lumped together with necromancy. Both also have the bad reputation of being pure evil. I've never liked lumping a person, thing, concept or group as pure good and pure evil so I'm going to try and come up with spells that aren't inherently bad.
Blood Contracts -- An agreement is made between multiple parties. Blood magic can be used to tell who broke/fulfilled the contract, when and how -- or it can be used to punish anyone who doesn't adhere to the agreed upon terms
Eternal Binding -- Not technically eternal, since the binding may end if everyone involved wishes for that. Eternal Binding is how some spell-casters partner up with magical creatures. You may summon them, sense their general state of health and emotions, communicate with them over long distances, etc., but they may do the same to you.
Blood Trail -- Mark anyone or anything with a smudge of blood -- yours, theirs, or a pre-prepared flask of animal blood, as is common -- and you will have a magical red trail to follow should you need it, so long as the smudge sticks.
Blood Weapon -- Instantly create a weapon of your choice using blood as the only material. It requires decent concentration on the spell caster's part in order to retain its shape, but it is powerful in its versatility and availability.
There's probably some good potential for healing/medical spells too
