A gusty wind had picked up on the street, tossing the back of his brown coat behind him at every possible angle, and wiping his hair against his face sharply to the extent that he had taken to squinting his eyes. Adjusting the black messenger bag onto his shoulder more securely and comfortably, he continued down the sidewalk at an increased pace. When he had arrived at work it had been bright, warm, and sunny; now by contrast the sky was dark, and the air was chilled. In fact it was unusually cold; one look to the sky and he noted the fast-moving clouds and made the assumption that a storm would be rolling in. Instead of stepping into his car, he continued down the sidewalk until he reached a small coffee shop not too far off from the building he had originally come from. A warm coffee or hot chocolate right about now would be great.
He opened the door, and was saved from the elements outside as the door shut behind him. Then, patting his hair down some, he then raised his head, smiling as he met the eyes of one of the staff. " It is horrible out there, " He informed with a grin, his eyes turning to scan the menu that was plastered on the wall behind the desk.
