unakite: what my muse’s ideal pet would be
“Oh, um…” The Bosmer pauses for a moment as he thinks. “Sometimes I wonder if one of the lesser Daedra would be interesting to have. Like a clannfear or daedroth.” A soft furrowing of his brow. “Though I don’t know how viable such a thing really is.”
“A dog might be nice,” the Khajiit mused. “Something to help watch the campsite and road from things that might wish others harm. Though Khajiit does not know if this one could provide the proper care for such a creature.”
“A pet?” The dov rumbled in an almost confused sounding manner. “How would I even keep a pet? What would one such as I even have as a pet?” Another rumble. “I do not think I can technically apply such a question to myself.”
“Ah, this one already has a pet.” The Argonian grins toothily. “Suri had to leave it Elseweyr though. Skyrim’s cold and ice is no good for a snake.”
The Altmer grunts slightly. “I suppose a wolf would make sense. Though generally I work much better alone.” A slight wave of a hand. “I tend to be an unwelcome enough sight in more places without a creature such as that following along as well.”
“Oh, that’s an easy one. A cat, no doubt.” The Dunmer smiles. “Don’t have to worry about it sneaking things from the cases like a dog might, is independent enough when I don’t have to worry about too much should I get overly busy during the day with work, and I can snuggle with it during the night.”
“Well, when I was younger my father did have a few hunting falcons. I wouldn’t mind having on of them myself.” The Imperial shrugs lightly. “A battlefield is probably not the best place for pets, however, even if the could fly above most of it.”
“Hmm. I suppose a fox would be interesting. And would fit in with the sneaky thief like I am.” The Argonian lets out a laugh. “Or is something like that too on the nose?”
