Calgary Day 11: Last Day

July 16, 1995

Today is my very last day here in Calgary.  Right now I’m in the gym.  I opted not to go swimming today.  I’m upstairs above the pools.  Erin and I are listening to our “Redneck” CDs.  We timed it so we’re listening at the exact same place.

Erin is reading a magazine.  We just got done playing cards.  I feel really bad:  Whenever we play I always win (I’m really good at cards… It’s what we do at Girl Scout camp).   Should I pretend to lose next time?

Guess what happened last night?  About 15 people died their hair!  I was going to, but I decided against it.  They went to Walmart to buy the dye.  It was the kind that washes out in 6 washes.  My chin is really starting to actually look better.  Ever since the first day of this trip I’ve had red dots all over my chin.  Almost everyone in our band is breaking out too.  I wonder why?

Well, I have 4 more hours until I go home.

I am on the plane now, and I think I spoke a little too soon.  When I got on the plane my face started to break out again.  Maybe it’s the altitude?

Note:  I cannot forget to be at MVHS on Wednesday at 7 to pick up my stuff and Erin’s KROQ Sax Case (she can’t be there).
