I've never painted water reflections in this way. It's so challenging to get the right image of the reflection in the tiny waives from the water surface. Cold winter night, Calina Lefter

This original landscape painting is about cold winter nights that we can meet at the North Pole where only polar bears are kings of the northern lands. This painting can be considered experimental, being part of those works that just surprise you in the end. Paint is the stage where the color pigments dancing by the entire harmony of the painting. Dark accents are made with dust stains, merging randomly over the entire canvas. Last coat of gloss varnish gives preciousness and protects artwork by harmful external factors.

We are born 80% of water. Our experience in all life is a physical movement, or vibration, that passes through these waters. When I work, I use just few saturated colors onto medium sheets of paper then I use the physical movement of my body to obtain a new color and communicate my feelings in creation moment. My art is a "connection" between water and myself, it works like a reflection in which I hope we can discover what we share.
