... I'm actually kind of sad that I won't have any time to physically meet or hang out with any of my tumblr friends who live in the LA area. if any of you hang out in the LA area, I am regrettably sorry and will be silently crying under my breath until I fly back out to Jersey.

the environment and overall vibe here feels so much more relaxed and easy going than the hustle and bustles of the east coast. it’s also sort of weird that extreme Jay walking isn’t as prevalent either — I never realized how real the instinctive urge to cross the street at every opportunity is in spite of what the crosswalk sign says. like. the WALK or DONT WALK signs have usually just been /suggestions/ …OuO;;;; /silly east coaster status

BUT that’s only like…one example of why the environment feels more laid back. no one is rushing to get to their destinations and everybody has a relatively even pace. it’s interesting, to say the least and it really does feel like I’m on vacay.. uwu
