Exploring PALAWAN!

It’s actually a first to travel with friends that’s far from Luzon. I mean, most of our get together trips were just around the Metro Manila or 5-6 hours of land travel from Alabang. At long last our annual jaunt has improved! We went to Palawan! 

I almost couldn’t recall what we did in our Palawan trip that was just about months ago. Thankfully, I’ve gathered all the info I want so I can blog about it deets by deets. Lemme start with Day 1. 

We went there July 20. We’ve been checking everyday before our flight if how’s the weather there because news made us all desperate since that was the time Typhoon Mario made his presence felt.

Originally, our plan was to visit first El Nido for 2days of island hopping and just go back to Puerto for the remaining 1 ½ day for underground tour & whatsoever. We had all our outfits, gears, and itinerary really prepared for the 4 days of exploring, as we’re all excited for that trip. But because of Typhoon Mario, almost everything we’ve planned changed and the trip became spur-of-the-moment from Day1 to Day4! I have no regrets tho, still had fun!

From the airport, we were fetched by Eulen Joy's Transfer. It took us 5hours to reach El Nido and we arrived at Casa Cecilia  almost midnight already. As always, I was snoozing during the van trip so that long freakin' hours didn’t really bother me at all.  

Since we’re a group of 8, we booked 2 deluxe rooms with free breakfast for only Php2,500/room. Each has 2 double-sized beds, CR & 2 A/C. Pwede na! Budget approved!

The next morning we were greeted by a calm sky but unfortunately our supposed Island Hopping Tour A didn’t push through because of coastguard’s memo through Tay Miloy's. Instead they offered us inland tours so we can still enjoy El Nido. 

We went to Nacpan & Calitang Twin Beach. Some would say, this is one of the prime attractions of El Nido, Wow! Glad we're able to visit this! 

We were prohibited to swim into the beach or go a little far from the shore because of the dangerous waves. Tragic stories were told just to calm our excited-to-swim-nerves! We just enjoyed goofing around, anyway! 

I bet, this view would have been more perfect if with Mr Sun! 

I've never seen such a fine view like this before! Stunning!

Next stop was the underrated Bulalacao Falls we trekked to see the falls for almost an hour! Omgsh that's another first for us! :)

For our last stop, El Nido Cove Resort 

Another calm weather! But don't be fooled! Haha, we saw how dark clouds covered those rock formations! Scary! 

had dinner first before we head back to Casa Cecilia. 

Generally, we literally squeezed the day!!! :)
