Typhoon Mario (September 19, 2014)

More like Super Mario Typhoon, am I right??? No.....okay moving on.

Today was a typhoon day. And it just so happened to be named Mario. If you haven't seen it already, that's my name. So yeah, I felt kinda special.

Today was a lazy day also, partly because all of the events today got cancelled. There goes school, cheerdancing practice, friend time; all of it gone just because of the strong rain.

The typhoon itself was annoying as hell. It was moving so slow, less than 30 kph so it lasted the entire day from around 5 am to 8 pm. I woke up just to be told there were no classes for the day. :\ NOT a good way to wake up.

The day was also such a lazy day....actually all these days have been lazy days. Lazy days, busy days, and tiring days. Basically no time to do anything else.

Anyway they say this storm is supposed to leave so I hope it does. I have a BIG event tomorrow, and I can't wait. :3

As some of you may know, another typhoon hit the Philippines. Here we call it Mario, but others may know it as Typhoon Fung-Wong.

Anyway, in my university, we have this thing called the Ateneo DREaM team (The Ateneo Disaster Response and Management Team). This year, similar to what they did last year for Typhoon Yolanda or Typhoon Haiyan, they're trying to raise funds to send to the affected areas.

They're looking for cash donations. It would really help if people from all over the world can help donate money as well.

For the sake of our helpful friends overseas, there are other methods to donate money for the victims of Typhoon Mario / Fung-Wong. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Typhoon Mario has been goin at it since yesterday after school. My sister is stranded at her friends house so I’m all alone in my dorm and there’s no food.. I have a few soup packets so I can eat those but I have no rice. And you know Asians need that shit! Hahaha yeah. But this typhoon is no joke. It’s not as bad as last years, which lasted a week long. But I can’t really say I guess since it started yesterday night. But I heard that someone had passed away already. A 2nd year med student was tryin to travel in high waters when a loose wire hit the water :/ and my friend jus told me someone else passed away too. Man, imagine. Alive this morning but dead by the afternoon. That’s crazy. Rest in peace, friends :(
