As always, I had a fabulous time in Vegas! It was time to take the short flight to Los Angeles. It would actually be my first time in LA, so I was more than ready to finally check out its food scene!

Before I headed to the airport, I was able to see my cousin and some family I haven’t seen in years! Thanks for stopping by! It was so nice to see them.

I attempted to eat an airport meal of fried pickles and a sandwich at Ruby’s Diner before boarding. Off to LA!

The flight from Vegas to LA was only 46 minutes. I grabbed my luggage and took an Uber to our downtown Airbnb apartment. My friend would be arriving the following day.

  I settled in and walked down the street for a quick bite. I ended up going to Tacos MX, ordering the asada, carnitas, and al pastor tacos , and taking a seat at the small counter inside the tiny casual eatery.

  I walked around downtown a bit before heading back to the apartment. I was looking forward to my dinner reservation for later that night!

It was fun to hang out with family and friends this weekend, now I'm heading back to good ole Utah to deal with reality...work!?!
