Any Minecraft players?

I recently stumbled upon a call for betas for a Minecraft server that is still looking for people to join. The beta environment opens up this Saturday (October 20th, 2018) if anyone is interested in joining. Below is the write up from the co-creator of the server (shared with his permission), and further down, is the link to the forums. To apply to be a beta, you have to create a forum account (because this is where they’ll keep track of feedback/suggestions/bugs) and then you can fill out the short application.

Hello my name is Ryan56k, and I, along with my partner Brandon_Wildman, have created a server that is based around an idea that we have yet to see on any other server. We have been playing minecraft for roughly 8 years and have been running and creating our own servers since we began.We have created around 5 servers and have gained a ton of knowledge on how to run and create a server. Our focus to to create a unique and immersive environment that keeps our players entertained and coming back. Let's talk about the server: The idea for this server comes from a combination of things, mainly Sword Art Online (anime) and Diablo (PC game). With this server we aim to bring people together and create more player interaction. One thing I dislike about minecraft and most other servers is that people become self sufficient and disappear, this is how a server dies out. Our server is not a jailbreak, factions, or a mini game server it is an MMORPG server.We have created a unique profession based system that requires players to actively trade and hunt. The server is comprised of multiple "floors". Each floor has a dungeon that must be cleared in order to advance to the next. Mobs and bosses drop unique items that most of the time need to be identified to get the most out of them. Players can own shops, houses and guild halls! Quests are available to the players so they keep interest in the server and move forward. There is much more depth to this server than many others that are cut and paste and full of mini games. Call for beta!

Hi all! I’m looking for a beta for the Klance WIP I mention in this post. More info below the cut!

Do you like slow burn? Pinefest galore? Absolute ridiculous, tear-your-hair-out levels of obliviousness? Unrequited feelings that have actually been requited the whole time, the characters are just idiots? Langst that turns into Lance receiving all the recognition and love he deserves? Then this fic will surely be right up your alley!

Currently, the fic is 130+k words, and around 14-15 chapters. I’ve got most of the fic all written out except for some scenes in later chapters, and I’ve gotten through the solo editing process up to chapter 12. I’m hoping for help in catching typos and grammatical mistakes, but the main reason I’m looking for a beta is find someone who’s interested in the premise of the fic that can help me in talking over story decisions to help the story flow the best it can.

This is a season 7 canon divergence AU that takes place right after the Garfle Warfle Snick episode. The premise is that Lance drinks something he isn’t supposed to and must kiss the person his heart most desires in order to avoid being bound to a planet’s deity that would force Lance to never leave the planet again. He gives the whole team a kiss on the hand to avoid revealing he’s actually in love with Keith, and it sets off a chain of events that of course eventually ends with Keith and Lance revealing their feelings and getting together! It just takes them a lil bit to get there lol.

Edit: I should probably mention that this is my first time dedicatedly writing fanfic, and so I’m going into all this with only the vague understandings I’ve gained from being a non-creating fan.
