my friend, lilykit627 recently posted about the Family Faith and Freedom Act of 2013; it's basically the same thing that happened in Texas. the bill effectively shut down all but one abortion clinic in NC, and imposed huge restrictions that make procedures more time-consuming, more expensive, and harder to complete. and the worst part is that the Senate voted on the bill only 90 minutes after it was made public. "no, we don't care what the citizens have to say about the bill, let's just pass it."

so, as soon as possible, I'm calling House Speaker Thom Tillis (919-733-3451) Senator Phil Berger (919-766-5708) Senator Tommy Apodaca (919-733-5745) and Governor Pat McCrory (919-814-2000) to voice my disgust.
