Airing out all my dirty fic laundry on main...

BCS

1. The Mare’s Tail, Chapter 2 thru ??? -- Kim origin story that will eventually become McWexler. I didn’t intend to quit writing it for so long, but here we are. I hate myself for planning a multi-chapter story when they all could have been less intense, more carefree one-shots BUT HERE WE ARE.

XF

1. Polaris, Chapter 2 -- Holman and Sheila’s wedding from Scully’s POV. 5+ years in the making, it will remain nearly done for another eternity, probably. I should be banned from WIPs.

2. FTF -- Augury flash forward that answers the most vexing question of all time: how did Mulder and Scully get from the ice field of Antarctica back to DC??? Well, at least the how-did-they-get-off-the-ice part. Augury was supposed to be the flashback sandwiched between the ‘rescue’ part of the story but I got impatient.

3. Spyd -- THIS ONE OMG was a fever dream I had while driving through New England where M & S travel to the Green Mountain State to solve the mystery of the missing super cool girl who disappeared from her forest home. SPOILER, I’m the cool girl and I turned me and my friends into cats on purpose bc *goals*. Shameless self-insert BUT it was actually a decent shot at a moody case file.

4. K.N. -- “Murders his own best intentions”. I feel that on a cosmic level. This is a pretty-much-done-and-ready-to-be-posted-but-I’ll-get-around-to-it-never kind of missing scene situation from the moments after Mulder finds Scully on the floor at the end of Milagro. It’s done and I like it and that’s where my energy ends on that one.

5. thermal doc -- M & S “investigate” some hot springs in NM where they have a conversation about where mythology and geology intersect. In the hot spring, of course. Maybe this would be a good candidate for a BCS/XF crossover! 

6. Eos -- A missing scene from Tithonus told from Death’s POV as he comes for Scully. For some highly disappointing reason, I can’t find this anywhere on my hard drive right now and I’m trying not to think too much about it bc I never ever delete anything so where the heck is it?? This one was finished but never posted. Guess I’ll learn that lesson the hard way.

6. Dagoo & Knicks -- Shameless S10 post-MASMTWM fluff where Scully brings her new dog back to the unremarkable house and Mulder’s heart explodes with domestic bliss.

7. Brace Yourself -- Pre-S10 blind trust that the revival was gonna be amazing and I played around with what Mulder and Scully were up to after the teasers were released bc I thought maybe I was onto something but I was not. Dreams = crushed.
