“helloooo!” abby trilled, opening the door. she beamed at callie, hopping aside to let the other other girl in. “make yourself at home. the cookies are almost done, the movie’s in and ready to start!” she bounced back into the kitchen and peered into the oven. “i have a bunch of other snacks and drinks too, so help yourself!”

valentine’s day was coming up and charlotte couldn’t be more excited. it was an entire day dedicated to love, so the holiday was basically made for someone like her. she was already planning her romcom movie marathon and what cards she was going to send everyone. she was also really excited about the valentine’s day date auction, callie had convinced her to enter, not that she needed any convincing. the only problem was that she couldn’t figure out what to put in her basket. she thought that callie might be better at this because charlotte wanted to include so many things and couldn’t narrow them down. she texted callie that she was coming over because she needed her sister’s guidance. it was four in the afternoon, so charlotte honestly wasn’t sure if the other would be sleeping or not but she figured she would give it a shot. “hey callie it’s me!” charlotte yelled while knocking on the door.

huddled and hiding under blankets, charlotte tried to make herself feel as safe as possible. well as safe as one could be after watching such a terrifying movie. she was waiting for callie to arrive, but every single noise was startling her. she heard the pipes that always made a little bit of noise and she thought that someone was coming to kill her. so when callie walked in, she let out a small shriek before realizing it was her cousin. “oh sorry,” charlotte said after barely catching her breath. “i think this movie has made a little jumpy.”

charlotte stared at her homework, frustrated. she was a good student, that was for sure. she always did her homework and tried her best. but she just never understood any of it. she bit her lip as she looked at the questions that seemed to make no sense. she let out a sigh when she noticed her cousin in the common room. charlotte gave her a small smile and waved her over. ‘ hey, what did you get for question 12 ? ’ she asked, looking up from her homework. ‘ this stuff is so hard. ’

charlotte obviously loves callie. she thinks that callie is the best friend and family member that she could ever ask for. she really loves the way that they can talk about anything and even if they don’t talk for a minute, they can just go right back to how it always was.

probably when charlotte thought that her parents might be moving back to california and she would have to say goodbye to big bear and callie. she planned this really sad goodbye party, but it ended up being for nothing because they ended up not moving.
