By misrepresenting veganism as just a bunch of assholes trying to make poor people eat quinoa, people who support other social justice movements are able to avoid cognitive dissonance by never addressing the actual, compelling arguments for animal rights and instead making it about defending poor people from those oppressive vegans over-policing social movements is a way of suppressing them without overtly opposing them. you can tell because it's always "veganism is bad because its classist" rather than "lets work together to make sure our vegan analysis includes poor people"

Also, they love to point at how certain groups of people don’t have access to or control over their food, but instead of focusing on how we could change that, so that more people actually could have the option to not use animal products and whatever other unhealthy crap they’re forced to rely on, they start attacking vegans, while at the same time saying we shouldn’t attack each other!

I mean really, vegan or not, people should be able to eat more fruits and vegetable and legumes and whole grains, and the fact that being able to do this is so difficult for some people is a huge problem that we should all be able to agree needs to be fixed, and not something that should be used as a “gotcha” to try and make yourself look like you’re morally superior to vegans so you have an excuse not to think too hard about your own choices that you do have control over.

I'm so fucking done with callioscope. She stands up for trans people so much I'm starting to wonder why she hangs around gender critical and radfem blogs when we're obviously critical of trans community and the things they cause against other people. She should just call herself a TRA and go.

So you weren't done with Callioscope when she said bisexuals can call themselves homosexuals if they want and lesbians can't stop them? Or her numerous rants why lesbians are worse than straight men? Or how lesbians are too insecure to try to be men/transwomen? She's never been good representation for bi radfems and has always been gleefully lesbophobic. Why is the bottom line her becoming a trans chaser? Just wait until she has a TIM partner and they both identify as lesbians.

Pretty much, it's racist, misogynistic and sexist to have eyes and an opinion.
