aww. are you sure you want to go through all that trauma every 8 years?
no, but they're cute!

dont dogs usually live for like 15? so a chinchilla’s not much more. and yeah you should wait until the time comes in case you decide on like a turtle or something instead
turtles are stinky. ok, let me rephrase. i cant take of something that eats its poop for 20 years. and pure bred yorkshire terriers dont live that long. they tend to get high sugar levels around the age of 5-7. then die. (my last yorkie died when she was 8)

no but my cousin has had one for like 7 years
i've read that they can live up to 20 years. that's as old as i am. do i really want to take care of something for possibly 20 years?!
i dont plan on buy any animals until i graduate college so i have a couple years to decide

chinchillas need to be let out once in a while in a controlled environment bc being caged too long stresses them out
how do you know so much about chinchillas? are you a chinchilla?!
callmecarstairs replied to your post: callmecarstairs replied to your post: ...
chinchillas are selfish and dont get along well with other animals. my cousin has a chinchilla and she fostered some cats for a while and her chinchilla hated the cats
chinchillas eat their own poop too. i don't know if i'm ok with that.
and if i do get both a dog and a chinchilla i would keep the chinchilla in its cage while the dog is out of its cage.
callmecarstairs replied to your post: callmecarstairs replied to your post: I can’t...
but chinchillas cant get fleas and they roll around in dust to take baths
i agree with you, chinchilla is the better option here. but my heart is telling me yorkie and my mind is telling me chinchilla.
Maybe i'll get both? Charlie the chinchilla and. I need to work on the dog's name.
