He said he’d get back from his mission yesterday. She’d stayed at the school overnight waiting for him, bringing with her a box of cookies that was now carefully tucked away in the fridge. Winnie was well aware of the fact that Jack could take care of himself and was probably completely FINE, but she worried for his well being when he so much as bent over to tie his shoe. So when he didn’t get back from a mission on time, she was almost panicking.
