Same. I think I'm mostly miffed about it because many people use "samstiel" instead because 10.05 was the first time they ever even thought or heard about sastiel.

a misunderstood or misinterpreted word or phrase resulting from a mishearing of the lyrics of a song.

when I was growing up everyone said Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix had the line Scuse me while I kiss this guy (it's actually Scuse me while I kiss the sky). They all had theories on why the line was about kissing a guy and, looking back, it's hilarious how "no homo" they tried to make a lyric that they were completely misunderstanding

There are probably some Sam x Veronica fics out there. I know there are some Sam x Connor ones.

I have never found any. 

And another crossover I die over is Aidan Waite from Being Human US and Sam. I think they would have a lot to talk about, namely how Mark Pellegrino ruined their lives.

So Connor and Sam were going to Stanford at the same time.... Can you imagine the happy well-adjusted Connor - who had all his horrible memories, but could deal with them because of the false memories he was given - and Sam meeting? They'd both feel there's something slightly off and non-human about the other, and neither would know what to make of the other.

Yes! I thought of this too when they said Conner went to Stanford. AND Veronica Mars went to Stanford, too, so I just imagine Sam and V hangingout, being awesome, solving cases with the paritcular set of skills they picked up in HS shadowing their fathers' weird jobs... jsadlkfja;sldkjfa;lkj 

I want V x Sam fics so much. 

And I love what you said about Conner and Sam. That would be an interesting thing to see play out.

I watched the promo earlier and my immediate reaction was 'Oh, no'.

Yeah. I'm pretty used to being offended by spn at this point, but this thing was like a slap in the face. I mean... the fact that nobody who read that script said "hey, maybe we should not use trans people as an example of something weird and inconsequential" is horrifying. But of course being cis allows to me forget a lot of the time how ingrained transphobia is in our culture, and things like this really drive it home.
