(oshare refers to oshare bones, who is very very prevalent in the kids lives. lucifer refers to satan’s brother, and to oshare’s lover he always mentions. its heavily implied this lover is lucifer.)
amitie- mom named betty who, a lot like amitie, is very extroverted and sweet. acts a lot like her daughter and loves her to the moon and back. single mom, amitie never saw her dad around, hence why she looks to oshare like a father figure and he looks to her like a daughter. he always takes her out to go get ice cream or try on things in his shop and is good friends with betty
raffina- born in a very rich household potentially royalty, mom and a dad, who don’t really care for her. they don’t treat her like a daughter that much and just treat her like someone they know, always acting serious and curt. she looks to accord like a mother and oshare like a father because her home life is so stilted.
klug- parents couldn’t take care of him and passed him on to the father’s sister, a zoologist named maria. she cares for klug immensely and is a good aunt to him, klug just misses his parents. he doesn’t get to see them often but has a framed picture of them in his house. maria sometimes goes on zoology trips, examining animals for weeks in other places and knows klug can take care of himself. he can, but it still feels lonely
sig- appeared on oshare and lucifer’s doorstep when he was a baby. they took him in as their son and gave him immense love and care. when sig was eight a housefire broke out and oshare and lucifer died, but lucifer put a spell on oshare in his dying moments to make him become a skeleton after he “died”, hence why he’s alive. sig was outside when this happened and ran away and has been living in the woods alone ever since. he never sees oshare because his shop is on the other side of town. oshare holds out for sig every day.
