I moved to Ontario in grade 8 and yeah the french is pretty lame :/

don't get me wrong like i like the idea of learning a new language and like the idea of the possibility of being able to speak french but like i've been learning french for literally ten yrs and we're not learning how to properly speak it and stuff, all we do is watch french movies with english subtitles and memorize french songs that teach us how to conjugate verbs; the same verbs we've been learning for ten yrs and you wonder why not all of canada can speak both english and french
