Soooooooo, I don't normally post recs or anything, buuuuuuuut... if anyone wants to just puke rainbows, YouTube advertisements finally got to me, and I read this whole comic in one single sitting instead of eating breakfast this morning. It's about these two guys in college, one of whom is this short dude who's a genius with some serious mental health issues who loves his sister more than anything, and the other is a big blond dude who is so earnestly kind and facing a LOT of pressures from his family. Shut UP, I know what it looks like, and YES, that IS why the YouTube adds wound up working on me. I do promise that they're not JUST Valgrace a bit to the left. (Lucas especially is a lot different than Leo.) There's also a really fun group of background characters, the writing is fast-paced and funny, and the art style is SUPER cute. I'm not REALLY sure if I would call it a slow-burn seeing as these two LITERALLY had hearts in their eyes (one of my FAVORITE artistic styles) from day one, and they've basically been dating since then. That being said, there's 40 episodes, and they're still not OFFICIALLY dating, so there's definitely that level of frustration slow-burns are renowned for.
Anywho, I do highly recommend to anyone who wants to kill an hour or two this afternoon. Do be warned: Author is MEAN and thrives on cliffhangers. I refuse to TELL people to pay for stuff on Webtoons, but I am an irresponsible adult and did exactly that bwcause the last free episode was SUCH a cliffhanger. Now I'm gonna have to wait a MONTH for new updates unless i wanna keep forking over my money. Do not be like me, kids. If you do wind up reading it, PLEASE lemme know what you thought! :D
