Sorting it out | Cam and Evie.
Things had been awkward between Cam and Evie for a while, and she was sick of it. She missed having her best friend around and she felt like if she came to him with a problem, she would seem like a burden. That said, she was hurt by all the rumours flying around saying that he hated her. Annoyed was one thing, but hate...that was a lot worse. After her incident at dance yesterday Evie had had trouble sleeping and walking around. It just seemed to be getting worse, her teacher had told her not to practise her routine over the weekend which frustrated her.
Evie was one of those stubborn people that if you told her that she couldn't do something, she would anyway, just to prove you wrong. But, as this was a painful injury, she couldn't even attempt to, she could only just about walk on it, but was embarrassed to because of the limp and the sharp pain. That said, she had to get out of her dorm, she was going crazy and it was too hot and stuffy in there. So, when she arranged to meet Cam at the park to talk things over, she got up and put on some leggings and Henry's biggest jumper along with her vans. It was the comfiest outfit she could think of and right now, she didn't care what she looked like. She sighed as she caught sight of her especially wild hair, times like this she was just tempted to cut it all off.
Grabbing her phone and putting it in her pocket, she headed out of the door and began her short walk to the park. A short walk that took much longer with her hobbling. When she got to the middle of the park she hadn't seen Cam yet and her leg was throbbing so she sat down on a bench near the pond, texting Cam where she was. Taking a deep breath she carefully stretched out her leg, thankful to have found a bench.
