Jenny Saville

Óleo Nació el 7 de mayo de 1970 en Cambridge, Reino Unido.

Entre 1988 y 1992 estudió en la Glasgow School of Art, en Reino Unido, completó su formación becada durante seis meses para la Universidad de Cincinnati, en Ohio. Acabó su formación en la Slade School Of Fine Art durante los años 1992 y 1993. Un año más tarde trabajó con un cirujano plástico de Nueva York. Durante su estancia en Ohio recuerda haber visto muchas mujeres con sobrepeso y por ello creció su interés por representar el cuerpo centrándose en las “imperfecciones” de la carne.

how come NPR is shorter than term time in Downing? is that normal?

Yup, that’s totally normal. “Full Term” is a weird thing that has something to do with when grad students/DoS’s have to be in college, not undergrads. You’ll notice that full term is longer than 8 weeks (the length of our terms). NPR is usually a few days longer than that normal 8 weeks but shorter than Full Term. I know, Cam makes everything so confusing.
