Storm finally rejoins the X-Men at the destroy mansion in Westchester (with Gambit in tow) after getting abducted by Nanny, transformed into a child, and chased by the Shadow King for a while. Ok there’s a couple of things annoying me in these panels. First, the fact that Cable accuses Storm of trespassing on the grounds of the X-Mansion. Who the fuck are you even, old man! You didn’t even exist until like 3 issues ago! You don’t get to talk Storm like that! She’s Storm! Second, is that the smallest gun Cable has ever used in his life? Is that the one he keeps in his ankle holster? I don’t believe for a hot second that Cable would ever be caught dead with a gun that small. How is he going to compensate for his genitalia when he’s using a gun that small! Did they have to make it that small so child Storm could kick it out of his hands? Storm should have DISMEMBERED Cable here. Fucking bullshit.
Jesus thank you Storm at least SOMEONE remembers Franklin was actually killed during Days of Future Past. Maybe now we’ll figure out what’s actually going on. It better not be stupid. (X-Men Annual #14 – 1990)
