I need to bring back this fandom! I mean yeah Becca Cooper took years to be published but lets bring back all the kick ass ladies doing kick ass stuff. These books where my gateway drug. After them I moved on to Tolkien. Like read these if you want to be a massive fantasy nerd forever.

Not sure what has some Teen Wolf people up in arms this time...

But I'm pretty damn certain a bunch of people need to chill the fuck out. 

Take a breath, walk away from the keyboard, maybe stop and consider another point of view for a moment, and realize that what you've taken from something that was said is not always what the original speaker intended. No matter what the issue, immediately jumping to threats and screaming and insults is never going to help, and only serves to make you look batshit crazy with no credibility. 

So basically, breathe. If your point is valid, it can be expressed in a rational, adult, way.

Like Bill & Ted said...just be excellent to each other.

gay men can be misogynistic. being gay doesn't suddenly exempt you from being sexist or misogynistic. i guess you were striving to say that it's equal objectification? since both sexes are being objectified? except, they aren't. one is being idealized. while the other is being objectified.

Also honey, Teen Wolf is crated by ALL GAY MEN. I'm friends with them. The show objectifies Men....

thanks for throwing that honey in there. that's great. i am glad you have such affluent friends. 

saying a show objectifies men doesn't really add to the discussion. considering that the female characters are robbed of agency and a lot of their story arcs are centered on being a victim and brutalized by male characters. a scene where a guy is doing pull ups is idealizing them as well as objectifying. while a scene where a girl is showering naked and has a hallucination and screams is objectifying and part of a male power fantasy
