You wanna stop smoking #cigarettes ? Consider redefining your "relationship" with tobacco. In the past, I moved from prepackaged factory processed cigarettes (Camel Lights) to organic roll your own and hemp paper. I soon came to realize that this redefined smoking as a conscious act. I could no longer mindlessly reach for a smoke. I had to sit there and think about what I was doing. Soon after I came to think about why I was doing what I was doing. It was always for a reason that wasn't important anyways. Rolling my own tobacco invested my own time and energy to making that exchange happened. Fire, tobacco breath stream $3.59 a pack, two times a week. It's a shitty joke when you think about. I worked to spend 10% of my paycheck on something that made me sick. Bukowski taught me well. I'll spare the rest of the details but now in the present, I use tobacco when I harvest plants. As I collect herbs I spread some on the ground by where it is growing and say thanks as offering to the Earth. Also occasionally I will burn rolled tobacco sticks without puffing them as a prayer for strength and steadfastness. Ultimately be nice to yourself if you are really trying to quit. Be nice to your lungs that keep that blood moving and clean. Be nice to yourself if you slip and smoke a few. There still is time...but make sure your body is on point when it's time. ;) The bag in the middle is a deer skin pouch with most of the last pouch that I bought. I immediately decommodify it and put it in a sacred container without a barcode. It is no longer a product. Ayeee.
