I wonder if Cameramon will join the team, What if Cameramon looks at himself in a mirror when no one's around, What if Cameramon will become the closest to Haru, What if all Cameramon wants is a partner? Once he's released. These are all my theorys

A lot to go upon! I do hope Cameramon will return and not be hurt from the baddies who were disappointed in his failure, 

I hope if he does get a partner it will be that afro guy. Cameramon just LOOKS at this magnificent disaster of a fucking human and constantly thinks to himself

okay so I love this guy and I love how he was doing selfie and I was really sad when he wasnt do any in next episodes also he really remind me of my fav Belzebumon so yea

Applimon ep 4 was... extremely good?!

they’re starting to use the applimon’s powers in more creative and interesting ways, which is great, and what i hoped for. I’m glad that there are real world consequences for screwing around in the AR field; I was kinda concerned it’d just be a boring isolated arena.

The characters, as always, are completely adorable. I love how Haru really cares about his situation, so he’s researching artificial intelligence to give himself an edge. I love that Gatchmon is riding a tricycle indoors for... some reason. I love that whenever Gatchmon gets excited he just infodumps a whole bunch of useless information on the audience; it’s a really cute touch for a character based on the power of google searches.

THE TWO OF THEM ARE JUST SO LOVABLE! UGH! JUST LET ME HATE YOU!

I also still love how Cameramon is subtly a vain piece of shit. He can’t even send a ransom message without pasting his own face all over it just so you don’t forget what it looks like. He’s such a great villain with cool powers and I love him. He has a really interesting way of manipulating people, which is pretty stupid in practice, but also a neat idea. It’s cool too that Leviathan has human cronies in addition to applimon.

(there was a big paragraph here but apparently there was some confusion so I’ll clear it up: i hate shotmon. there. it’s clear.)

The biggest problem this time is just how much fridge logic for is. i mean, plot contrivances happen, it’s not a big deal, it just kind of gets on my nerves when i have to start asking a lot of questions haha. Like, why can’t Haru call on Navimon to help him find Gatchmon? That’d be the obvious solution. And that junky error applimon wasn’t because Haru and Gatchmon were having issues, but because Gatchmon and Navimon were, and they never resolved that.

(since a nerd sent me a tl;dr reply I’ll clarify: I know why Navimon can’t use his powers to find Gatchmon, it’s just another pair of eyes out there and there’s no established reason not to call Navimon and have him watch to make sure Cameramon doesn’t pull a fast one)

Whatever, I’ll permit it.

Anyway, I think there’s still a lot of hope for this series if it keeps going in this direction. They might be getting the hang of it.
