Hi there. I’m Ansel’s sister. As you can see, we’ve been left a note. The only reason I’ve been able to find his account is due to a good samaritan calling the tip line and reporting it. Since I already have an active Tumblr, I told the police that I’ll sluice through everything (I’m under NO obligation to disclose anyone’s information or any private details to them. We’re simply in pursuit of leads on Ansel) instead of them coming in here and handling it.
The family was left a similar one on a hard drive last week. We’ve been searching - multiple heat seeking drones, cadaver dogs, search and rescue teams, state and local police, literally every resource available; and we have not found Ansel. There are statewide press releases. We believe he may still be alive.
Obviously this is traumatic, and I ask not to pry on any potential relationship you had with Ansel. If there is any information you have on close friends he may have gone to stay with, any locations he idealized "leaving" at, any steps he had taken in planning this, etc. please message me. anything at all it would be of immense help.
I hope you’re holding your own in the face of this kind of news. If it’s any consolation, we are almost certain he’s still alive, somewhere with someone.

If you wanna know the state of Yugioh TCG collecting in the wake of Overframes in the core game…
The situation is so funny man
Basically, Mr grifter announced that he might be getting into the collecting side of yugioh, which would lead to the scalping hell that now plagues the Pokémon and One Piece TCGs
As a joke, MBTYugioh gave them pointers on what to “invest in”, recommending some of the WORST shit products that this game released in the years
He then followed up with a tongue-in-cheek, clearly trolling video recommending shit like Legendary Duelists sets, Duelist of Deep and Synchro Storm, and the Platinum cards, and exclusive COINS before ending the video with “Don’t invest in yugioh. You will lose money due to this game’s reprint policies”
Like, it was very obvious for anyone with half-a-brain cell and is familiar with Yugioh that the video is a joke
BUT a bunch of scalping bots took the video at face value and bought out these doodoo, worthless products immediately after his fuckass video came out
Now they’re sitting on unsellable trash. 100% deserved, I hope everyone whose trying to grift this game like Pokémon loses their money
The story of Cats is that in the 1930s, the famous poet T.S. Eliot wrote a book of cutesy little cat-themed poems for his godchildren
And then 40 years later, Andrew Lloyd Webber found a lost cat poem that T.S. Eliot had cut from the cat book for being too sad for children, and ALW was like “woahhh. A cat….that’s sad. That’s deep, man. I wanna make a musical out of this”
So the producer assigned to the project was like “okay, I guess you could maybe read these cat poems as a satire of 1930s British society? We could probably do something sort of interesting with that, I’m thinking a cast of about 5 and–”
And ALW was like “no. Forget the satire. Also I want a cast of dozens and the most advanced special effects technology ever seen on stage. I’ve taken out a second mortgage on my house to fund this”
And the producer was like “wh– you– wh– do you even have. a plot”
So ALW got a bunch of actors and writers and artists together and they holed up and did cocaine workshopped for 5 weeks, and at the end of it they emerged and said “the plot is that a bunch of cats are having a dance contest for the right to take a ufo to cat heaven :)”
and then it made 2 billion dollars.
You know how the best genre of rock song is “There’s a Wizard”? CATS is good because it’s two and a half hours straight of “There’s a Cat”, which shares a lot of the same musical DNA.
Though curiously, the “There’s a Cat who is a Wizard” song is actually the worst one in the whole play. It’s not great on its own, but it’s REALLY not done any favors by the song right before it, “There’s a Cat Who Has Done Every Crime Ever And Everyone Is At Least A Little Horny For Him.”

i love that chidaruma is this omniscient, omnipotent being, yet q hayashida made the design choice to put him in a hoodie. he also rips off his horns and wings each night to comfortably sleep, loves pulling pranks, is a gamer, and made a man with shrimp tempura for a head just for laughs. he also has a fat dumptruck. did i mention he rules hell and created magic users cause he got bored one day? amazing
i love the devils in dorohedoro because these things are made in the image of a dark god, raised from obscurity and tasked with destroying their own sanity and morality in order to receive unimaginable power and nigh-immortality
having succeeded at this, they are immensely bored and spend most of their time larping as rockstars and shit
