Here’s another one for my #camerareboot #series. I’m exploring using my older compacts that may seem obsolete due to accelerated camera product cycles. “Loading Dock 1” ~ #austin #texas © 2017 Skip Hunt - I’m also curious if older gear and their specific color engines and sensors, can be selected for use based on their unique characteristics. Much like we used to creatively select a specific film stock for its “look”. This was made with a #nikon #p7700 #compact. I love the build and ergonomics on this camera. There’s also a nice subtle grit that I find appealing. (at Jollyville, Texas)

“She-Shell” ~ #campwood #texas © 2017 Skip Hunt was made with an #olympustg4 - This is the newest compact of the 3, and you can tell it’s chip is more advanced, but there’s a look to the Nikon that I slightly prefer. I think it’s the quality of the noise that looks similar to film grain that I like.
