Which brings us to Blake Calhoun’s delightful unboxing of the IndieVice (@indievice_), a camera rig that promises to “turn your smartphone into a pro camera.” A prize-winning filmmaker with a terrific sense of humor, Calhoun (@watchblake) opens the IndieVic box for the first time on camera. This spontaneous box opening captures the experience any of us might have after purchasing the device. 2am and I’ve built a rig for the detail cam for the creative streams. What did I use I hear you ask? A piece of random wood, a pair of chopsticks and gaffer tape.
