Virgil meets Nadira - RP
@cameron-allen
Virgil moved along his management rail, looking for bits of scrap metal that he could bring back to the core workshop and melt down into something new. The area he was in hadn’t been used for a while. Not since before GLaDOS took over, in fact. Not much of a reason for robots to go into the medical wing.
The place was crumbling, with cracks in once pristine white walls. The rest of the place had been returned to pristine condition once GLaDOS got back into power, but the labs remained in this dilapidated state. GLaDOS had no interest in medical experiments, and no humans to experiment on anymore, so there had been no need to tidy up this place. The only thing it was good for now was scrap pieces of metal for maintenance droids like him.
He just had to ignore the labcoat-clad skeletons that still lay around the place. She hadn’t even bothered to dump those in the incinerator, like she had those in the rest of the facility. Gross.
A sudden noise made him pause. Was that a noise? He had heard stories of a human man living in in the service areas, and had seen the drawings the man had left on the walls, but he had never actually seen the man himself. He didn’t even know if the guy was still alive or not.
“Hello?” He followed the sound, curious and a little bit nervous. They had done some weird stuff back here. Who knew what mental state a medical test subject might be in? “Hello? Anyone back here?”
