I continue to be amazed that I actually live at a time where I can surround myself with quality queer content for a somewhat extended period. Save Yourself was hilarious, heartfelt, and deeply relatable, which is an extraordinarily difficult combination to nail. Esposito shares her pain, her mistakes, and how she got through it all. She acknowledges all of the questions we have in life. About ourselves, about our work, about our purpose. And, importantly, she reminds us that the answers to these questions aren't easily accessible. Perhaps the point of life is to consistently pursue the answers. #saveyourself #cameronesposito #grandcentralpublishing #bibliophile #bookworm #booksofinstagram #bookobsessed #booknerd #booksharks #booksofig #igreads https://www.instagram.com/p/B_N_FjHAmrX/?igshid=npz37c2ox0ac
okay but like are we surprised????? @taylorswift @cameronesposito
"I literally own 90 percent of new Ken's wardrobe."
“I feel like I never hear people talk about queer kids,” Esposito said. “We talk about queer parents, queer teens, queer adults of every kind but I was a little queer kid and I related to my toys as such. I loved Ken and Derek (from Barbie and the Rockers) and Kevin (Ken’s little brother). They were also one of the few toys that represented people of color in the 80s. I had Latinx and black Kens. For me, they were early community. Really.” -Cameron Esposito
Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher were perhaps one of the most gender queering couples. 2 female identifying (formerly on Rhea’s end) lesbians decked out in snappy suits or slick leather jackets. Their comedy sets often addressed feminism and various aspects of being women and being lesbians, while dressed in “men’s” vests or other typically masculine garb. And they’re stunning.
Nothing like being in a random bar in Kentucky and seeing a friend's face on the wall. @cameronesposito . . . #Comedy #StandUp #Standupcomedy #CameronEsposito #PersonOfConsequence #ChicagoComedyScene #HaHa #Louisville #Kentucky #BourbonTrail #UrbanBourbonTrail #Throwback (at Louisville, Kentucky) https://www.instagram.com/p/BoKniLJlZ8j/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1na33tihuozkt

Mood:
When Cameron Esposito was talking about how she got labeled “fat” as a kid instead of “d*ke” cause she lived in a small town and nobody probably knew that word.
