a little bit of peace of mind | cameron & noah
The dinner date had been something on Noah’s mind for several weeks now, and finally finding a good time for the both of them came as a surprise when it was set for the day of Jasper’s speech, something that Noah felt personally connected to, and was proud of the forward advancements they were making. He had text updates about it all night long on when Jasper was scheduled to actually start, and it was something he mentioned to Cameron before he even picked her up. Once at dinner, he made sure to leave his phone on silent, and tuck it away as to not be distracted during the dinner, or what he kept teasing it as a “date”. Once settled into the table at one of the more fancier restaurants he’d been to recently, he looked to Cameron with a soft smile. “This place is so nice! I feel a little underdressed.” While wearing slacks and a button-down wasn’t too out of the norm it seemed around here, he just didn’t feel like he belonged there.
