[It was a breezy day on the island of Berk, the village busled with people and dragons as some tended to their beloved scaled friends, worked in the bakery, working on weapons, built new things to improve island living, etc. Even the little kids ran around the village with the younger dragons enjoying life....
But somewhere in the more isolated part of the island that many people weren't around or where to busy to ever be was very peaceful, the winds moved the trees in a soft swaying motions as if they were dancing in sync. The air was quite chilly despite the grass being a lushious green color that didn't reflect the actual tempature. Sat in this peaceful spot was a girl who was looking down at her notebook sketching, seemed to be in focus on what she was doodling, her eyebrows furrowed in concentration as her dark eyes didn't look away from her paper. Her long dark brown hair got in her face slightly as some strands got pulled out of the messy, loose and low ponytail that the rest of her fluffy, thick hair poofed out from that was dragged onto the ground with the way she was sitting in the grass. She seemed to just...be in her own little world, the way she was not really with anyone else and was just....kinda there chilling and was content about not being bothered]
(Excited to see how Hiccup meets her if you chose to do this! I tried to keep it short and not describe him doing anything because my writer ahh is used to writing both sides 💫XD)
"Whoo! Aw, yeah! Almost, bud!" Hiccup cheered on the sea stack they landed on, putting his new flight suit back into his armor.
He was still very much riding the high of their last flight, while Toothless simply rolled his eyes and grunted.
"What? I thought that was a fairly successful test! Are, are you not satisfied, bud? Hm?"
Toothless groaned, huffing as he shook his head. "Alright, alright. Enough tests for today. Why don't we go on another flight? Blow off some steam?"
Cheering up, the Night Fury gave a gummy grin, bouncing on his paws. "Ah, see? I thought you'd agree!"
Grinning, Hiccup mounted the dragon, his prosthetic clicking into place. "Let's go!"
The flight was peaceful. At least, it was after the two did a few free falls. Hiccup could never tire of that thrill.
"Let's not head back to Berk just yet. Why don't we find a quiet place to relax, hey?"
With a roar, Toothless soared over the far side of the island, circling to land in a forest clearing. Hiccup squinted, "Huh. I think someone is already there...why don't we say hi, yeah?"
Landing softly, Hiccup dismounted, removing his helmet and tucking it into the saddle storage. "I didn't think anyone else would be out here," he said with a casual smile. "If Toothless and I hang here for a bit, it won't bother you, will it? Because, I mean, if it does, we can find another place. You were here first, after all."
