Cameron's arms are snug around Courtney's waist as the Moon peaks through the thin curtains. His face is buried in her neck. She smells like daisies, like the ones she has on so many of her shirts.
"Missed you," she whispers, fingers tapping against the ones at her waist, which earns her a squeeze and a smile into the skin of her shoulder.
"I missed you too, Courtney."

The lightest traces of touch against his skin wake him slowly, his eyes opening just enough to see his star smiling brightly at him.
"Hi."
"Hi," Courtney beams, pressing a brief kiss to his lips, laughing only a little at the look on his face before slipping back into the blankets, where sleep beckons them both.
