I love my pals so fucking much. Here’s to forever-picnics.
i havent posted on here in awhile. distraction after distraction after distraction/losing my laptop charger/lost in interest of mindlessly skimming through posts.
Anyways, I made a discovery today. I moved out of the hall I used to live in into a busier one, with people that I know and actually chill with. My discovery is this: that the college experience (at Hampshire atleast), is different to every person depending on where they live. If someone lives on a dead-quiet hall where no one does anything but leave or play video games all day, only to be disturbed by extremely loud moaning and bed-squeaking later in the night, then yeah. It's going to suck. Then there's the possibility of having been put on a super fun hall that rolls spliffs by the hour and plays sick music and is super open and bubbly--then ofcourse it's going to be a completely different experience. Isolation depends on location. Some people say that they love love love Hampshire, while others tend to feel very strongly about what they dislike. Unfortunately, we can't know how our experiences here would've been if we had lived in a different hall from the start. There are still a lot of possibilities. Everyone has a different perception. Not only is Hampshire different to each person, but so is life. I guess keeping an open-mind isn't really a solution, but most solutions are temporary anyway.
