Grand Illinois Ride: Purpose

I decided that I already wanted to do the Grand Illinois Trail.  Long distance cycling and me get on like butter on toast.  Pulled up a map, talked to some friends and we begin to put together a nice trip for ourselves.

I also then decided, I wanted to ride as a way to do tzedakah and raise some dough for a non profit that I admired.  All the talk about warm weather and bike touring made me think of camp/camping.

I then decided to reach out to Camp Lightbulb, in Provincetown, Mass. A summer camp for LGBT youth.  So I'm riding with them in mind.  I you're feeling up to it, and want to make a donation directly to them, check out their website http://www.camplightbulb.org. 

Might as well ride for something, right?!

Stop. I think my heart is about to explode. Let me just... Okay so I might have a paying job lined up to live in P-town this summer. LIKE LIVE. As both a junior counselor for my favorite camp in the universe: Camp Lightbulb, and my Camp Lightbulb advisor has been looking for work for me to be doing on the side whilest I'm there for a month and some. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF I AM SO BEYOND EXCITED!
