Ep 60 – X Company Season 1 – Canada's Secret Spy Camp X Meets Gritty WWII Drama
This week on Rosie, we tackle X Company Season 1 — the Canadian WWII spy drama you’ve probably never heard of… and absolutely need to watch.
Set at Camp X, a secret training facility on the shores of Lake Ontario, Canada, this show follows five agents dropped into Nazi-occupied France. What we thought might be light CW vibes, turned out to be brutal, surprisingly thoughtful, and way more historically grounded than we expected.
There’s trauma, there’s moral ambiguity, there’s Aurora being a ruthless queen (and making questionable choices but not yet in this season), and there are some seriously gutting moments (Neil, we’re looking at you).
Huge thanks to Robin Brouwers for the rec. Here's the trailer:
Tell a friend who needs to know Canada had a spy camp. We’re serious.
