Do you think you could analyze the Knight of Heart? Thank you!!
One of my closest friends is a Knight of Heart, so absolutely.
The Knight of Heart
So many Knights lately. There's a trend.
Knight - passive exploitation class, one who serves aspect, or serves through aspect for others.
Heart - control over soul and feelings, representing what makes you, you.
The Knight of Heart is one who serves Heart, or one who serves through Heart for others.
The opposite of a Knight of Heart is a Thief of Mind.
Knights typically start out with a deficiency in their aspect. Not on the level that a Page does, but definitely some sort of set back. This Knight might be one who struggles particularly with the concept of self imagery.
The Knight's challenge is to find a healthy and stable middle ground, and to know that they are good enough, they don't have to overshoot, but they don't have to undermine their efforts, either.
As splinters of self are a common part of Heart players, the Knight of Heart, being an exploiter of the soul, might use these splinters to their advantage, once realized. They could exploit the splinters of other people, inadvertantly causing an event in the timeline, or using it for this kind of reason.
The Knight of Heart is also going to be someone who is quite irrational and impulsive. They might run to the tick of their own clock, but despite this, they are incredibly empathetic and emotional people, and can understand people easily, even if their facade says otherwise. As Knights hide behind a facade that often ghosts the opposite aspect, a Knight of Heart might put a facade up as one similar to a Mind player. They want to be percieved as logical and knowing.
As a player, the Knight of Heart is going to be a useful player. They might be able to splinter themselves to leave impressions on people, or to exploit feelings of other people. Maybe they can't do what a Rage player or a Hope player can do, but a Knight of Heart would be one HELL of a sweet talker. Well timed words could get them what they want, and they'd be good at it. They'd use this ability to get their friends out of situations, even if it means they have to bite it. They are incredibly selfless people.
Pre-God Tier, I see the Knight of Heart as someone who might be demotivated to continue going, someone who struggles with the entire idea of splinters as a whole, and who has a long, continuous character arc that essentially boils down to one question: Who am I?
With some encouragement, the Knight of Heart could make out to be an incredibly effective player, and an awesome friend.
