This little biz I’m so passionate about can really stretch my resources to the limit sometimes, like most business owners I guess. And it has to be said that the world of floristry is a very strange one. The way I see it, I just do what I do and what I love. But sometimes it’s hard not to feel beleaguered by those who don’t do their thing but who follow and do your thing and not theirs. Anyway, what I can say is that like all walks of life there are good people and there are some flipping awesome florists around. I have incredible friends who help me out when I need it and who go out of their way to lend me props, because they are lovely! I have other non florist friends who totally get my situ and support me whenever they can. This week, good things have happened. I have been recommended a lovely wedding by a florist who I’ve only met briefly but have the utmost respect for (thank you, you know who you are!), have helped out a fellow florist in need and had much fun doing so. Finally, I’ve been contacted about a super exciting project next year. Karma, I love you. Here’s to good people, who do their own thing!
