Silent Afternoon
Here's something i started last spring and left in a drawer to gather dust until now basically, last spring I played through the original Zoo tycoon (One of my big childhood games) and I wanted to paint all the prehistoric critters in the Dinosaur digs expansion. Went for more accurate reconstruction, but with game-based coloration.
Here we go! The formation piece for the Morrison formation. I apologize to all Morrison nerds for not including their personal favorites. At some point the image is full.
We mostly focused on the flora and fauna of the Dry Mesa quarry and adjacent localities. Torvosaurus and Ceratosaurus were also present but where would you even put these?
Because there are plenty of size charts for Morrison we didn't bother about it this time but one of our Discord mods, Tim, and a few other people put together a rich menu to choose from. The flora was informed mostly by the work by the work of Tom Parker.

Tumblr liked the dinosaurs a lot so here's some more art of em!
They hate our diet!
Camptosaurus
Camptosaurus was a request from Dan West, a Cretaceous tier member on Patreon!
Camptosaurus is an early member of the iguanodontia - the group of herbivorous dinosaurs that contains the more derived hadrosaurs. It was robust and bipedal, growing to around 6 m in total body length, and weighing approximately 1 t. Camptosaurus had a beaked snout and tightly packed teeth to process its diet of tough vegetation.

A quick sketch of Allosaurus I made for the final entry of my (ultimately unsuccessful Jurassic June 2026 art challenge. Since the whole month was focused almost exclusively on working on an animated short film which I originally intended to release on Dinosaur Day, I unfortunately did not have enough time to work on ever entry of the Jurassic June challenge, but I will hopefully be able to do so once my short film is finished.
