I can’t edit my posts

You know the little gear-shaped icon in the corner of a post that you can click to edit it?

It’s gone. I can’t edit my posts anymore. What happened?

EDIT: Oh wait, hang on- it is on this post, but only on my dashboard. On my blog’s page, the gear icon isn’t there. What’s going on?

If anyone’s interested, I found a way to edit older posts.

This is if you can edit posts on your dash but not from the blog itself. If you have xkit, you can use “Go-To-Dash,” and then problem solved (make sure the “move the edit/remove buttons out of the gear menu” tweak is unselected). You just have to find your post and hit the “view” button.

If you don’t and you can’t like your own posts, what you can do is:

Find your post on the mobile app, edit, and add in a unique tag (for instance, I did “lokgifsandmusingsmeta” for my meta roundup)

do tumblr.com/tagged/youruniquetag

You should be able to edit from there. You may even be able to like your own posts on mobile and get to it without adding a tag. Who knows. It works though.

Can't edit some of my posts..

I have no idea why, but for some reason most of my last several posts cannot be edited. When I move the cursor over Edit or Delete it stays the same and clicking on them does nothing. A couple of the posts can still be edited though... The Mass editor only lets me delete the post or remove tags from the post... WTF..

Also, the ghunghroos / ghungroos are apparently itty bitty bells.
